Rachael Halaburda is an award-winning filmmaker and visual storyteller whose work bridges journalism, documentary, and music videos. After earning a first-class degree in Broadcast Journalism from Nottingham Trent University, Rachael joined Notts TV as a senior reporter and producer, becoming a well-known voice in the local media landscape.
Driven by a passion for telling stories through film, she founded Jamshot Studios, building a portfolio that spans documentaries, music videos, and creative content. Her ability to combine journalistic integrity with cinematic craft has led her to collaborate with Sony, EMI, Universal, RCA, The National Lottery Heritage Fund, and Arts Council England.
Rachael’s work has been featured by outlets such as Rolling Stone, NME, Clash, DIY, Soul Kitchen and Dork. Her latest documentary Standing in This Place: The Journey Continues premiered to a sold-out cinema audience and was showcased at venues across the Midlands, gaining national press recognition. In addition, she recently directed Not Like The Rest, a music video starring Bella Ramsey, which has reached nearly one million YouTube views and is now on rotation with MTV.
Her work has screened at film festivals across the UK, where it has received multiple nominations and awards, cementing her reputation as a director with a distinctive tone and a talent for powerful, emotionally resonant storytelling.
